Data Minimisation, Practised on Ourselves
Vero's product argument is that organisations should hold less personal data, more deliberately. It would be strange if our own website did otherwise. This notice explains, briefly and honestly, what this site does and does not collect.
Who we are
This site is operated by Vero HR Ltd, a company registered in Ireland under number 821805, with its registered office at Temple House, 57 Temple Road, Blackrock, Dublin, A94 Y5W5. Vero HR Ltd is the controller for the personal data described in this notice. Our data protection contact is Suyi Guo, reachable at the registered address above or through the contact form on this site.
What this site collects
Almost nothing. This website has no user accounts, no analytics trackers and no advertising or third-party cookies. We do not profile visitors, and we do not sell or share personal data with anyone.
Demo requests
When you request a demo, the details you provide (name, work email, organisation and your message) are used solely to arrange that conversation. We ask only for what we need, retain it only as long as the conversation warrants, and delete it on request. The same data-minimisation discipline Vero applies to workforce data applies to yours.
Local preferences
Your theme choice (light or dark) is stored in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device, is not a tracking cookie, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
Hosting and access logs
This site is served as static pages from Google Cloud infrastructure with a content delivery network. Like virtually all web hosting, standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) are generated for security and operational purposes and are retained on Google Cloud's standard rotation. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Data Protection Acts you have the right to access, rectify and erase personal data we hold about you, and to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland) or your local supervisory authority. In practice, the only personal data we are likely to hold is what you sent us about a demo - and one email is enough to have it corrected or removed.
